International Village Pavilions

Take a trip around the world of wine by strolling through our International Village in downtown Easton and visit six countries. Inside each Pavilion you will be introduced to wines unique to each country— we promise you new discoveries! Sample delicious hors d’oeuvres prepared by local chefs and caterers to pair with these wines...visit the cultural and tourism exhibits. Then, onto the International Marketplace to purchase your favorite wines...as well as home/wine accessories, unique foods, books and art!

Argentina - In an intimate tented area, entered through a garden and adjacent to Mason’s Restaurant, you can sample some of the extraordinary wines being produced by this up-and-coming and innovative wine region. Try a red Malbec or a white Torrentes to understand why this area has captured so much of the world’s attention. Wines to be sampled at this venue.

Australia - In a Tented Pavillion on Harrison Street, try a few wines from “down-under” and experience the feeling that so many wine lovers have had when tasting a full-bodied Shiraz or other varietals that have put this country on the worldwide wine map.

France - Bienvenue! Welcome to the French pavilion located in the historic Avalon Theatre. Whether you are tasting Bordeaux or Burgundy, white or red, there are few places on Earth that create wines of such consistent quality and have had such a significant impact on the history of wine enjoyment. Sip a few wines from different regions of France and see how much variety you may have been missing. Wines to be sampled at this venue.

Helping to create a festival atmosphere for the French Pavilion is Wright's Interiors, a family owned business since 1969, and which serves Maryland's Eastern Shore as well as Delaware, Virginia and Washington DC. They have a long history of providing quality products, design & installation expertise, personalized attention and reliable service. Italy - “Fare una passegiata” (take a little stroll) to the Waterfowl Festival Building and enjoy the wines of a country that practically invented the term, “La bella vita" (the good life). After tasting wines from some of the 20 different wine regions, you will begin to understand why Italy has become a world leader in providing bold and satisfying reds and surprisingly good, and underappreciated, whites.

United States - Without question, the United States has, literally, created its wine industry only in the last 75 years. In this relatively short period of time, it has become a giant and considers its wine to be the equal of any in the world. We hope to expose you to a few different, boutique wines that are “under-the-radar” and not particularly well known to most wine aficionados. The United States tasting area, along with Italy, will also be located in the Waterfowl Festival Building. In addition to California wines, wines to be served will include a few exciting examples from Oregon, Washington state, and Maryland as well. Wines to be sampled at this venue.
